Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: 2026-06-23
StoneAI — The Covenant Engine, a FanXus company — exists to make authority legible and accountable. This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets the boundaries that keep the Engine trustworthy. It applies to every Customer, user, and governed system that touches the Service.
The covenant is a promise, not a loophole. StoneAI records that a human consented to an action. You may not use that record — or any part of the Service — to lend the appearance of legitimate human authorization to conduct that is illegal, harmful, or deceptive. The audit ledger exists to hold authority accountable, never to launder it.
01Prohibited Uses
You may not use, and may not permit any user or governed system to use, the Service to:
- Violate any applicable law, regulation, sanction, or third-party right.
- Govern, automate, coordinate, or authorize unlawful activity — including fraud, money laundering, trafficking, the distribution of illegal content, or unauthorized access to systems or data.
- Infringe intellectual property, misappropriate trade secrets, or violate privacy or publicity rights.
- Produce or facilitate child sexual abuse material, non-consensual intimate imagery, or content that exploits or endangers minors.
- Harass, threaten, defame, or incite violence against any person or group.
- Generate or distribute malware, ransomware, or tools designed to compromise security.
- Deceive others about who authorized an action, or misrepresent automated output as independent human judgment where doing so is unlawful or fraudulent.
02No Laundering of Authority
The Service must not be used to manufacture a false chain of consent. Specifically, you may not:
- Seal covenants on behalf of a person who did not actually review and authorize the underlying decree.
- Use shared, automated, or unattended signing keys to simulate human deliberation that did not occur.
- Present the audit ledger as evidence of due process for actions that were, in fact, predetermined or coerced.
- Use StoneAI to legitimize, justify, or paper over conduct that is illegal in the jurisdiction where it takes effect.
Sealing a covenant is an act of accountability. Using it to disguise unlawful action is a material breach of this AUP and your Terms of Service.
03Integrity of the Engine
You may not attempt to undermine the mechanisms that make StoneAI trustworthy. You may not:
- Tamper with, forge, reorder, or attempt to rewrite entries in the append-only, hash-chained audit ledger.
- Circumvent or disable the approval brake so that decrees take effect without a valid covenant.
- Forge, replay, or misbind Ed25519 signatures, or detach a covenant from the decree content hash it was created to authorize.
- Misrepresent the identity of a signer or the authority under which a covenant was sealed.
04Security & Abuse
You may not:
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service without prior written authorization, except via our responsible-disclosure process described in our Security & Trust overview.
- Attempt to access another tenant's data, breach tenant isolation, or escalate privileges.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service, including via denial-of-service attacks, automated scraping beyond documented API limits, or resource exhaustion.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or resell the Service except to the extent permitted by law.
- Share credentials or private signing keys, or allow unauthorized parties to seal covenants.
05Fair Use & Rate Limits
The Service is metered. You must operate within documented API rate limits and your plan's allowances. Excessive load that degrades the Service for others, or attempts to evade metering and overage billing, are prohibited.
06Customer Responsibility
You are responsible for the conduct of your users and the behavior of the governed systems you connect to StoneAI. You must ensure that the people authorized to seal covenants are who they claim to be and act within their actual authority, and that your use complies with this AUP, the Terms of Service, and applicable law.
07Reporting Violations
If you become aware of any violation of this AUP — including misuse of covenants, attempts to tamper with the ledger, or abuse of another tenant — report it promptly to support@fanzunlimited.com.
08Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend, throttle, or terminate access — with or without notice where the violation is severe, ongoing, or unlawful — to protect the Service, its users, and the public. We may preserve and disclose records as required by law or to address abuse. Enforcement action does not waive any other right or remedy available to us, and does not relieve you of fees owed.
09Changes to This Policy
We may update this AUP to address new forms of abuse or legal requirements. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email, and the "Last updated" date will change.
